I have always enjoyed sending Thank You cards. Mainly, I enjoy the excuse to relive my childhood memories or writing hand-written letters. * I had 3 long-distance pen pals I wrote to throughout grades school. I miss the excitement of getting an envelope in the mail. The only thing I don’t like about sending cards is that they are often SO expensive.
When I don’t have time for crafting, buying cards at the Dollar store is my go-to, but that still leaves you at $1/card. So, here’s an easy way to make your own for about $0.25 / piece.
I’ve recently written about how it can be hard to embrace my job as a stay-at-home mom, ALL the time. But this week there has had so many wonderful moments in parenting that I thought I’d share my Top 5 favorite things about having a 1-year-old.:-)
Confession #2 – I may never be happy.
Actually, I think the better way to look at it is that I can always find a way to be happy. Both are true. Here’s what I mean…
I had great conversations with a few mom friends this week, and I’ve decided no mom (or parent) has the perfect work/parenting situation. It seems like no matter what the scenario (working from home, full time, stay-at-home parent, working part time and home part time…) there is always something that can leave you a bit unsatisfied.
